Letter, Design & Sell

Set up your online store and start selling your products in 30 days or less

You're Creative.

You don’t have to have the business side all figured out. This course shows you how to take your lettering skills and turn in into a profitable, (almost) passive business - so you can earn revenue while you create.

Find design inspiration, learn how to digitize your work in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, open an Etsy or Squarespace online shop and turn your customers into repeat buyers.

I bet these questions have crossed your mind:

I've always wanted to own a business but where do I start?

You learned calligraphy as a hobby, stress reliever or because you volunteered to handletter your first cousin’s wedding invitations. You’ve mastered the basics and have a signature lettering style, but how do you turn a hobby into extra income? You can't just practice forever.

Isn't the market straight up saturated? Who would buy my products? And how do I even find customers?!

Sure - there are Etsy stores out there, some also selling mugs/prints/whatever it is you also want to sell. But trust me when I say your products are unique. Why? Because your lettering style belongs to you and you alone. Know that there is a customer base out there for you - and we review ways to turn those customers into repeat ones.

But there’s so much info floating out there, can’t I just Google everything?

You technically could - but it's just floating out there. Why not have everything in one place, so you can get your shop up and running way faster? That saves you time - and that means you can generate revenue sooner.

I earned over $600 in my first couple weeks of opening my online store - with designing products once, adding listings and pretty much setting things on autopilot. What could you do with that extra (almost) passive income every month?

You're in the right place if you're:

A Side Hustling Calligrapher who wants to add products to your current service offerings

A Hobby Handletterer who’s curious about creating physical and digital products

Have basic lettering experience & want to earn extra income as a creative

Hi, I'm Joyce - the calligrapher behind Write Pretty Things. Opening my online shops was my first venture into starting a business based on my calligraphy. I've since left my full time job, teach live workshops and work with custom clients - but that all started with opening a store and believing I could earn money while being creative.

I'm not super special - you can do any of the above and more!

Why start with an online store? Because I show you how it doesn't take a gazillion dollars upfront or space for 500 mugs in your home.

Then you'll be on your way to earning almost passive income with your storefront - so you can tackle all the other calligraphy business things & become a creativepreneur.
